That is correct, eight DUI arrests! According to an article over at the Seattle Times:
David Morgan, 41, was arrested in June for driving with nearly three times the legal blood alcohol level and with a permanently suspended license.
...He was sentenced to 30 months in jail in November of 2004 after his seventh conviction but the judge waived prison time if Morgan would complete a substance abuse treatment program, Clackamas County Deputy District Attorney Rebecca Schaleger said.
...The state doesn't keep data on how many Oregon drivers get more than three drunken driving arrests, but Oregon State Police spokesman Lt. Gregg Hastings said eight is extremely rare.
